Roccat announces Khan Aimo 7.1 gaming headset

Roccat has released the Khan Aimo 7.1 gaming headset, a high-end gaming headset in Roccat's audio lineup featuring RGB lighting. Furthermore the Khan Aimo 7.1 comes with a built-in sound card and a comfort-focused design.


It took a while for Roccat updates their digital surround-sound gaming headset. The last headset of this type was the Kave XTD 5.1 which has been released in 2014 and it had two speakers for ear cup. With the Khan Aimo 7.1, Roccat is back doing digital surround gaming headset with only one speaker for ear cup. In order to give a deep surround experience, the sound is re-processed with an internal sound card.

Inside the Khan Aimo 7.1 there is one 50mm speaker in each of its ear cups. Like for the previous version, the comfort is one of the major focus of the Aimo. For example, each ear cup is mounted on a metal band that allow for three axes of motion. Due to this design, the pressure of each ear cup is distributed more comfortably on the head. In addition each ear pad comes with memory foam and smooth material surface.

According to Roccat, the Khan Aimo 7.1 gaming headset will be available soon for 119,99 Euro.
