SanDisk unveils X600 SSDs series

Up to 2TB capacity

SanDisk has shown their X600 SSDs series, which are based on 3D-NAND Flash memory. The X600 drives are available with 128GB, 256GB, 512GB, 1TB and 2TB capacity. The drive will be available in three form factors: 7 mm-thick 2.5-inch and M.2-2280.



As mentioned above, the upcoming SanDisk X600 will be available in several form factors. Read and write speeds of the SanDisk X600 series are mentioned to top out at 560MB/s, while the manufacturer is saying that this performance can be achieved with all different file types. In terms of endurance the MTBF is set to 500 TBW on all the drives. Regarding random read/write performance these drives can hit up to 95k/84k IOPS in random read and writes respectively.

So far SanDisk has not revealed details on pricing and availability on their X600 series but we are sure we will know more during next weeks.
