Gigabyte announces P104-100 crypto mining accelerator

A mix of a GeForce GTX 1070 and GTX 1080

Right after the announcement from Inno3D, another company is now offering a new graphics accelerator card designed specifically for cryptocurrency mining. This graphics card is a Pascal-based GPU and it's a mix of a GeForce GTX 1070 and GTX 1080 with its specifications. Furthermore there aren't video outputs.

The GPU installed in this card is the Pascal P104 and it features 1'920 CUDA cores like GTX 1070. The base clock is set to 1'607MHz like the GTX 1080 graphics card. Furthermore also the memory are similar to the one present on the GTX 1080, since there are 256-bit GDDR5X memory clocked at 11Gb/s. However the Gigabyte crypto mining accelerator sports only 4GB of VRAM. With this specifications, the card should offers up to 35MH/s.

The Gigabyte P104-100 also features the WindForce 3X cooling shroud, which sports three fans and an aluminum heatsink. Like we mentioned above, the card doesn't show any display outputs. Unlike the consumer GeForce graphics cards, this card is backed by only a 3-month warranty.
