Colorful unveils the iGame Z370 Vulcan X motherboard

A bit late to the party

Colorful has released a new motherboard that is compatible with Intel's Coffee Lake processors. Like the previous model this one features an entirely black color scheme with silver accents. According to the manufacturer, the iGame Z370 Vulcan X should be the right motherboard for gamers and overclockers.

The iGame Z370 Vulcan X is the new flagship model and it's based on an ATX form factor, yet this time Colorful is using all the area available on the PCB. Nevertheless the iGame Z370 Vulcan X also comes with RGB backlight underneath the PCH cooler. In general the layout is quite similar to the previous model and therefore it has also been equipped with three full-sized PCIe slots and three PCI x1 slots.

There are six SATA 6 ports that have been angled. Apart from that you get two M.2 slots allowing the installation of differently sized SSDs. The first M.2 slot is placed in the middle of the motherboard and it's compatible with 22110 units, while the second one is close to the socket and it supports 2280 SSDs. The first one also features a M.2 heat sink which should improve temperatures.

In addition this model comes with several features like GamerVoice2.0 Audio technology and Fintek USB headers. GamerVoice2.0 Audio is an audio chip implementation which has been isolated from the rest of the motherboard. So far Colorful has not revealed details on official pricing and availability on their iGame Z370 Vulcan X motherboard, however the motherboard can be found in several online retailer for almost 250 Euro.
