NVIDIA's TITAN V has been spotted in the Futuremark and Unigine databases, showcasing impressive results. Last week, NVIDIA surprised us with the launch of its first Volta graphics card, the TITAN V coming with a price of $3000 Dollar.
According to Techpowerup, the TITAN V managed to hit 5'222 points in Unigine Superposition 8K Optimized preset and 9'431 points with the 1080p Extreme preset. Just for reference, a NVIDIA GTX 1080 Ti can reach 8'642 points with the 1080p preset if running with under liquid nitrogen cooling. Both scores are insane and the TITAN V looks incredible fast. The card has been tested also on Unigine Heaven 1440p hitting 126 frames per second.
Furthermore the card has been benchmarked on VR Mark "Blue Room", the new VR benchmark from Futuremark. The TITAN V managed to get 4'400 points, 1'400 points more than a GTX 1080 Ti. However benchmarking is only half the battle, since benchmarks aren't accurate like real-world testing. According to Techpowerup, the upcoming first Volta graphics card can hit 157 frames per second on Gears of War at 1440p Ultra settings and 76 frames per second on Ashes of the Singularity with 1440p Crazy setting.
NVIDIA Volta seems to be a great news and it's expected to arrive early next year.
