EVGA announces their GTX 1070 Ti FTW Ultra Silent

Triple-slot

EVGA is updating their line of graphics cards with models that come with FTW coolers. The upcoming GTX 1070 Ti FTW Ultra Silent sports a dual-fan cooler with black color scheme. In addition the card comes with a solid backplate.

The GTX 1070 Ti FTW Ultra Silent graphics cards features a dual-fan cooler with triple slot design. The FTW heatsink comes with a black and grey finish and LEDs at the top edge. Furthermore there is also a solid backplate which looks like it's been made from metal. Compared to the FTW2 cooler, the heatsink installed on this model is a bit thicker and the fans stay off not just when the GPU is idling, but also when it's under load, until it reaches a higher temperature threshold.

The GTX 1070 Ti FTW Ultra Silent graphics card features reference clock speeds and works at 1607MHz/1683MHz Core/Boost frequencies, just like the other two, since NVIDIA doesn't allow factory-overclocked GTX 1070 Ti graphics cards. The card features three DisplayPort 1.4 connectors, one HDMI 2.0 and a DVI port.

As of today there is no date available when this card will hit the shelves of your local retailer.
