MyDigitalSSD reveals SBX M.2 NVMe SSD

With up to 1TB capacity

NVMe capable SSDs are growing increasingly popular these days, offering much higher transfer speeds than the usual SATA drive. New markets always offer new opportunities and that on the other hand means that different vendors will launch new products. MyDigitalSSD has shown new M.2 NVMe SSDs which are designed to offer a competitive price/performance ratio.

The budget oriented SBX is based on Phison's PS5008-E8 controller and uses Toshiba 3D TLC NAND flash memory without DRAM caching. Talking about performance, sequentially reading this drive should hit up to 1'600MB/s and 1'300MB/s in the case of sequential writes. This may not be the fastest NVMe SSD on the market but it's still substantially faster than all existing SATA SSDs which are usually limited to 550 MB/s.

MyDigitalSSD SBX is available with 128GB, 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB capacity and is backed by a 5 years of warranty plan. The MyDigitalSSD SBX series starts at $64.99 USD for the 128GB model and $104.99 for the 256GB model. In addition users can opt for the 512GB for only $184.99. All three models are now available on MyDigitalDiscount store. The 1TB option will be available soon and pricing has not been revealed yet.
