ASUS unveils Swift PG27VQ monitor

Up to 165 Hz refresh rate

ASUS has updated their gaming monitor lineup with a new curved display which goes by the name Swift PG27VQ. This monitor sports a 27-inch panel with 2560 x 1440 pixel resolution. In addition, the PG27VQ is the first ASUS monitor with rainbow lighting that can be controlled with Aura Sync.

As we already mentioned the Swift PG27VQ monitor is going to be equipped with a 27-inch panel and 2560 x 1440 pixel resolution. On the connector side of things there is one HDMI 1.4 connector and two DisplayPort 1.2 ports. The display is based on an TN panel with 1000:1 contrast ratio and 400 cd/m2 brightness. ASUS is marketing this display as a gaming monitor and it supports G-Sync. The refresh rate is set to up to 165 Hz and the grey-to-grey response time is 1ms. On top of the specs there is a very well-built thin frame and stand, which allow for pan, tilt, swivel and height adjustment.

Furthermore this monitor comes with several RGB LEDs that can be controlled with Aura Sync. The ROG Swift PG27VQ is showing up on Geizhals for 869€ although we believe that's just launch pricing since the moment the display isn't in stock yet.
