A few hours ago, AMD published its latest set of financials. The results from Q3 2017 look solid with a 26% revenue growth observed year-over-year. Furthermore, we saw the first operating profits in three years ($71 million), compared with a loss of $406 million the past year. Starting with the positives AMD took in revenue of $1.64 billion in Q3, while the company did $1.31 billion in the same period a year ago. As mentioned above, the profits are $71 million that is much more compared the loss of $406 million a year ago. The company's third-quarter operating income of $126 million stands in contrast to the $293 million operating loss the company posted a year ago.

Computing and Graphics segment revenue was $819 million, up 74% year-over-year thanks to the strong sales of Radeon graphics and Ryzen desktop processors. In addition both CPU and GPU average selling price have been increasing significantly. Meanwhile, AMD's Enterprise, Embedded and Semi-Custom segment revenue was $824 million flat year-on-year.
