Galax introduces GeForce GTX 1070 Ti EX

With dual-fan cooler

Just a few days ago we have seen the first rumors about the upcoming NVIDIA GTX 1070 Ti custom and it looks like that Galax will add one custom card as well. The upcoming GTX 1070 EX is based on a dual-fan cooler design and should provide good performances. Current rumors suggest that the GTX 1070 Ti will be available as a reference as well as custom graphics card.

This particular card features a custom design, meaning there is a custom PCB which has been combined with a custom cooler. In the case of the cooler Galax is making use of a dual-fan model, featuring the usual, densely packed fin stack as well as several heatpipes. Apart from that the heatsinks shroud received a black paint job and so does the backplate, which is apparently on the cards flip-side.

According to latest rumors, the GTX 1070 Ti will be based on the GP104 Pascal chip with 2432 CUDA cores, 152 TMUs and 64 ROPs. In addition the frequency of the reference model should be set to 1607MHz/1683MHz Core/Boost. Due to the big cooler on the upcoming graphics card from Galax, we expect to see a decent factory overclock on the GTX 1070 Ti EX. The card features three DisplayPort 1.4 connectors, one HDMI 2.0 and a DVI port.

As of today there is no date available when this card will hit the shelves of your local retailer.
