Acer adds new Liquid ED273 monitor to portfolio

With FHD panel

Acer has expanded its monitor lineup once again with a new model featuring a 27-inch, 1920 x 1080 resolution and an VA panel. Furthermore it supports AMD FreeSync and Acer’s so called "Black Boost" feature, which can automatically boost the gamma value and therefore make dark scenarios in games better visible.

As we already mentioned the Liquid ED273 monitor has been equipped with a 27-inch panel and 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution. There is one DisplayPort 1.2 connector, one HDMI 2.0 port and one DVI port which offers video connectivity. According to Acer, the display comes with a contrast ratio of 3'000:1 and 250 cd/m2 brightness. Acer is marketing this display for gamers, due to the low refresh time set to 4 ms and the refresh rate of 144 Hz.

Should you own an AMD graphics card you’ll be benefitting from AMD FreeSync support. Apart from that there is a very well-built thin frame, which allows for pan, tilt, swivel and height adjustment. Furthermore it is compatible with VESA mounts making this display ideal for multi-monitor configurations if required.

The Acer Liquid ED273 display comes with an MSRP of $349 US and should already be available.
