GEIL launches Super Luce RGB Sync DDR4 memory

Another RGB kit

GEIL is finally bringing RGB lighting to their Super Luce memory lineup. Memory modules were some of the very last components allowing for RGB lighting, since it can be quite tricky to control the color over the SMBus. According to the manufacturer, on the Super Luce RGB you can change the color of the single LED.

According to GEIL, all the upcoming memory kits are compatible with Intel and AMD motherboards. The lighting is controlled via software and it allows the user to change the settings with just a few clicks. On the GEIL Super Luce RGB Sync DDR4 there are several options that can be selected like, for example you can choose which base color to use, the response time of the lighting bar can be altered or you can even link the temperature of your system to the color on the memory.

The Super Luce RGB Sync DDR4 modules are available with 2133MHz and CL15-15-15-36 timings and 2400MHz and CL16-16-16-36 timings. In addition they are available in both 3000MHz and 3200MHz with CL16-18-18-36 timings. There are 8GB and 16 GB kits. All kits are available with white or black heatspreader. So far GEIL has not revealed any details on pricing and availability, but we’re sure those kits are soon going to surface in the different price comparison portals all around the globe.
