ASUS unveils two Designo Curve monitors

With built-in wireless charging

During the IFA 2017, ASUS has expanded its curved monitor lineup with the MX38VC and MX32VQ monitors which feature a 37.5-inch and 31.5" panel respectively. While the first comes with 3840 x 1600 resolution at a 21:9 aspect ratio, the second sports 2560 x 1440 resolution at a 16:9 aspect ratio. Furthermore the solid base comes with a built-in Qi wireless charging pad with a max output of 5W/1A.



As we already mentioned the MX38VC monitor has been equipped with a 37.5-inch panel and 3840 x 1600 Pixel resolution, while the MX32VQ features a 31.5-inch panel and 2560 x 1440 resolution. At the moment there aren't many information on these two displays. However according to ASUS, the display inputs are the same on both models. There are two HDMI 2.0 connectors and one USB Type-C port. ASUS is marketing both displays as a multimedia monitors and for that purpose they've integrated 8-watts stereo speakers from Harman Kardon.

In addition, they can be synced with a user's smartphone or tablet via Bluetooth. The solid base packs a Qi-charger which can be used for charge your mobile phone. Checking out the pictures, this is definitely a good looking monitor, which is thanks to the slim bezel. Speaking about prices, the 31.5-inch MX32VQ should retail in Europe for €550 Euro, while the wider MX38VC will cost €1600 Euro. So far ASUS has not revealed any details on availability.
