It was simply a matter of time until EVGA would launch their GTX 1080 Ti K|NGP|N Edition. These cards are usually as fast as it gets and therefore the absolute flagship that can be bought. Already a few weeks ago, Vince "K|NGP|N" Lucido uploaded a few 3DMark scores in order to show some numbers. Today the card has been pushed even further.



Usually, when a new K|NGP|N card gets teased Vince "K|NGP|N" Lucido uploads 3DMark scores, which is precisely what happened this time again. So far Vince has managed to push the card to 2632MHz core and 6480MHz memory clock speed, which was enough to come up with the highest Time Spy score ever achieved. We certainly congratulate Vince to this great score and hopefully we’re going to see even higher scores from him in future. Regarding the specifications we can only guess at this point in time. A few weeks ago we have seen a few pictures of the graphics card however it’s still unclear when it will be available.

The that’s being used for the EVGA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti K|NGP|N Edition looks like an improved version of their iCX FTW3 module which can be found on several EVGA graphics cards. The card features a dual slot heatsink and a dense aluminum fin stack that has been combined with three fans. The entire cooler has been kept in black and there is a solid backplate presenting the EVGA logo and K|NGP|N's signature. Like many other high-end models, also the GTX 1080 Ti Kingpin Edition makes use of copper elements.

Talking a bit more about the benchmark results, it has been conducted on a X299 motherboard paired with an Intel Core i9-7900X processor and 4x8GB DDR4 memory. In the case of availability we would be guessing that EVGA might officially announce the card around Gamescom, which is scheduled to take place in August.
