Colorful announces iGame X299 Vulcan X motherboard

The flagship model

Although it's a bit late to the party, Colorful has now announced their flagship motherboard named iGame x299 Vulcan X, which is available with two different colour schemes; white and black. Both look pretty impressive and the fact that can be bought with different color schemes will allow matching differently themed builds.

The Colorful iGame X299 Vulcan X comes with eight DDR4 DIMM slots and it's based on an E-ATX form factor. There are four PCI-Express 3.0 x16 slots and one PCI x1. None of the slots feature metal reinforcements. Storage wise there are two M.2 slots and six angled SATA-III ports. Furthermore we also see several USB headers and a debug display. In addition to a number of USB ports, there are two ethernet ports. While the first is wired to an Intel i211-AT chip, the second Ethernet port is backed by a DragonLAN 8118AS chip.

The mainboard gets the power from one 8-pin EPS power connector and an extra 6-pin PCIe connector has been placed right next to the PCI-Express 3.0 x16 slot, which is located the closest to the bottom edge.

So far there are only a few pictures available but hopefully more will be showing up in the coming days and weeks. Apart from that we’re also waiting for the full list of specifications to appear.
