Project Cars 2 available by September 22nd

First trailer

During E3, Bandai Namco has released a trailer showing Project Cars 2 which will be available on Xbox One, PS4 and PC. Compared to the previous version, Slightly Mad Studios has improved various aspects, like dynamic weather, off-road dirt and snow racing. Furthermore it should be compatible with VR off the bat. According to the software house, the game will be released on September 22nd.

The game will be released right after summer and it will come with over 200 playable tracks, more than 150 cars and 8 different racing disciplines. According to a blog post on projectcarsgame.com, we know already which Porsche cars will be available and we should find models like the Porsche 936 (which won the 24 Hours of Le Mans), the dominant Porsche 935, the latest Porsche 911 GT3 RS and several more. The complete Porsche list includes: 911 GT1-98, 911 GT3 R (991), 911 GT3 R Endurance (991), 911 GT3 RS, 918 Spyder, 935/77, 935/80, 936 Spyder, 962C, 962C Langheck and the Cayman GT4 Clubsport.

Apart from the fact that Slightly Mad Studios finally to the licence from Porsche to add their cars to the game it looks like Ferrari could be on board as well. Having a close look at the trailer we spotted the iconic F40 as well as the 488 Challenge. Being able to give a batch of Ferraris as well as Porsches a go would be absolutely great.

Project Cars 2 will also feature upgraded physics and controls on all platforms, the driving experience should be even more realistic compared the first version. At the moment there aren't more details but we will surely keep an eye on it.
