Galax unveils two GTX 1080 Ti HoF graphics cards

The OC Lab and Limited Edition

Last month we’ve spotted a rumor regarding the upcoming Galax GeForce GTX 1080 Ti Hall of Fame graphics card. During Computex 2017 Galax has unveiled two GeForce GTX 1080 Ti Hall of Fame, where one goes by the name Limited Edition and the other OC Lab. While the first model is created for performance and extreme cooling enthusiasts, the second one features a full cover water block.

The Galax GeForce GTX 1080 Ti Hall of Fame Limited Edition already looks massive and powerful. The cooler they’re using is an improved version of their TriMax module which can be found on several other Galax graphics cards as well. The card features a triple slot heatsink and a dense aluminum fin stack that has been combined with three fans. The entire cooler has been kept in white and there is a solid backplate presenting the Galax logo. On top of that there is a LCD screen to display information such as fan speed, clock speeds, GPU voltages and more.

According to the latest rumors, the Galax GeForce GTX 1080 Ti OC Lab might use the same PCB that you can find on the Limited Edition featuring three 8-pin power connectors. The cooler has been changed and on this model there is a full cover water block from Bitspower. Both cards feature factory overclockings. While the GeForce GTX 1080 Ti OC Lab works at 1569MHz/1683MHz Core/Boost frequencies, the GeForce GTX 1080 Ti Hall of Fame Limited Edition works at 1645MHz/1749MHz Core/Boost frequencies. Since the GTX 1080 Ti Founders Edition runs at 1480MHz/1582MHz, we believe that there is a massive overclock on both cards.

As of today there is no date available when this card will hit the shelves of your local retailer but we are sure, when that happens, the card will be expensive.
