ASRock unveils X370 Gaming-ITX/AC motherboard

First mini-ITX model - finally!

ASRock has been one of the manufacturers to show AMD AM4 300-series motherboards. A few months ago, during an event in Taiwan, ASRock presented a few details on an upcoming mini-ITX model, that is based on AMD’s AM4 chipset. Meanwhile there are all the details on the X370 Gaming-ITX/AC motherboard.

The ASRock X370 Gaming-ITX/AC is based on a mini-ITX form factor with two DDR4 DIMM slots. On the storage side we find one M.2 slot, four SATA ports and two USB 3.0 ports. Looking at expansion slots there is one PCIe Gen 3.0 x16 slot with metal reinforcement. In addition, like on all the previous models, we see an Intel LAN chip. We are quite curious how the Ryzen CPUs will perform on this new motherboard since this is the first ASRock X370 mini-ITX model. According to the manufacturer, the X370 Gaming-ITX/AC should be compatible with all AMD Ryzen CPUs, which are available and the board should work with XFR technology.

Looking at the external connectors placed directly at the I/O-panel, ASRock equipped the new X370 Gaming-ITX/AC with a P/S2 connector, two USB 3.1 ports, four USB 3.0 ports, one Gigabit Ethernet port as well as an analogue audio panel with optical out. Furthermore we also find two HDMI ports. Unfortunately there is no CMOS reset button. At the moment ASRock didn't reveal any details on availability.
