G.Skill announces TridentZ RGB DDR4-3333MHz

With 128GB and 64GB capacity

Do you fancy RGB LEDs on memory modules? If the answer is yes, you will be happy to know that there are new RGB LED memory kits from G.Skill. The company has announced a new line of high-end memory kits for modders and gamers. The Trident Z RGB DDR4-3333MHz 128GB and 64GB retail kits are aimed at high-end X99 and Z270 motherboards.

The retail kits include eight or four 16GB RGB 3333MHz DIMMs, which feature lighting control in combination with compatible motherboards. The 8-DIMM kit is intended for X99 motherboard, while the 4-DIMM kit looks best on for Z270-based Kaby Lake systems. The memory are rated 3333MHz with the XMP 2.0 profile, according to G.Skill. However if you want to reduce the number of DIMMs to two you might hit 3866MHz. You can hit this frequency with 18-18-18-38 timings and without raising the voltage.

As we said before, these DIMMs have LEDs on them, supporting a wide variety of colours and modes. So far G.Skill has not revealed details on pricing and availability on their TridentZ RGB DDR4-3333MHz but they should become available during next months.
