XFX shows Radeon RX 480 Crimson Edition 8GB

With black and red color scheme

XFX already has a wide portfolio when it comes to graphics cards but that didn’t stop them from launching yet another model. The new card belongs to the Crimson Edition series and it is supposed to deliver solid performance at a competitive price point. The new Radeon RX 480 Crimson Edition graphics card features a dark color scheme with red LED illumination.

Checking the specs we see that the XFX Radeon RX 480 Crimson Edition comes with a little factory-overclock to 1288MHz/8000MHz Core/Memory clocks, while the Radeon RX 480 reference works at 1266MHz/8000MHz Core/Memory frequencies. This is a little factory OC and way lower if compared to the other XFX RX 480 available. Regarding connectors we find the usual three DisplayPorts 1.4, one HDMI 2.0b connector and one dual-link DVI port.

At the moment the card is not yet listed on Geizhals.at. Considering that this should be a budget optimized custom Radeon RX 480, we expect to see a price close to 240 Euro. According to Geizhals, you can find the XFX Radeon RX 480 RS 8GB for 252 Euro and the XFX Radeon RX 480 GTR 8GB for 280 Euro.
