MSI announces pricing of AMD-Ryzen Gaming motherboards

Featuring X370 and B350

In the shape of a press release MSI has officially announced that they are launching five different gaming motherboards, supporting AMDs new Ryzen processors. Since this is an official statement from MSI it finally includes information on the pricing.

During the past weeks and months information on upcoming motherboards for AMD Ryzen processors has slowly surface and we’ve covered everything we could possibly find. Now the final bit is showing up regarding the new boards from MSI. Apparently, we’re talking about the pricing.

The list below contains the different models and their current MSRP:

  • MSI X370 XPOWER GAMING TITANIUM (ATX) $329 (USD)
  • MSI X370 GAMING PRO CARBON (ATX) $199 (USD)
  • MSI B350 TOMAHAWK $119 (ATX) (USD)
  • MSI B350M MORTAR $99 (mATX) (USD)
  • MSI B350M GAMING PRO (mATX) $93 (USD)

Judging by this list the X370 XPOWER GAMING TITANIUM is going to be the most high-end motherboard from MSI by quite a margin. At a suggested price of $329 US this is anything but a cheap board, but therefore we can expect all the latest and greatest features such as an impeccably great looking design.

At the other end of the lineup there is the B350M GAMING PRO, which is going to cost only $93 US. This board will come with a feature set focussing on what’s essential.

As always we’re expecting prices to drop within the first few weeks and months after the launch by approximately 10 percent. Therefore it could well be that the MSI X370 XPOWER GAMING TITANIUM could end up for less than $300 US in the retail/etail channel.
