According to latest rumors from Videocardz, new scores on two upcoming AMD RX 500 series graphics cards have appeared. Although Ashes of the Singularity isn’t a great benchmark to use for comparisons, there are plenty of scores in a similar range to the RX 580 and RX 560. The AMD RX 580 should compete against the NVIDIA GTX 1070, while the RX 560 might be fast as a NVIDIA GTX 1050 Ti graphics card.
This time the benchmarks come from an AMD employee and they show the performance of the upcoming RX 580 and RX 560 graphics cards. Both benchmarks were run at 1080p resolution using the standard benchmark preset. According to other similar results that can be found in the Ashes of the Singularity database, the AMD RX 580 seems to be as quick as a NVIDIA GTX 1070.
The same user did a quick run with an AMD RX 560 graphics card. The AMD RX 560 should belong to the mid-range series and performance wise it’s pretty close to a NVIDIA GTX 1050 Ti.
At the moment rumors are that the RX 580 will be based on Vega 11 architecture, while the RX 560 will feature Polaris 11. Vega 11 is expected to replace Polaris 10 but at the moment there aren't any additional details. During GDC 2017 AMD will make several new announcements while holding their “Capsaicin and Cream” event, which has been scheduled for February 28th.
