Acer releases new 27-inch WQHD IPS monitor

The 27-inch 2560x1440 BE270U

Acer has released a new professional-class monitor that will be featuring a 27-inch 2560x1440 IPS panel and 100% sRGB coverage at a reasonable price, the Acer BE270U.

As noted, the new Acer BE270U is based on a 27-inch 2560x1440 IPS panel with 75Hz refresh rate, high contrast ratio, 350 cd/m² maximum brightness, 6ms response time and 100% sRGB coverage. It features two HDMI, DisplayPort, mini-Displayport inputs, USB 3.0 hub and even 2W stereo speakers.

According to Acer, the new BE270U monitor is designed for professionals like website designers and photo editing as it supports multi-streaming and PiP (Picture-in-Picture) modes as well as both provides good viewing angles, has Zeroframe design and comes with an ErgoStand that supports swivel, tilt and pivot adjustments.

As noted, the Acer BE270U will be pretty affordable and should be already available with a suggested retail price of US $499.
