Bethesda has officially unveiled both the minimum and recommended PC system requirements for its upcoming Dishonored 2 game as well as some of the graphics settings that will be available.
According to details provided by Bethesda, there will be quite a few settings to choose from but the most interesting one is the Adaptive Resolution, which will allow the game to actually lower the resolution in order to get a higher frame rate, enabling a much better gaming experience, at the cost of visual detail, of course.
The list of "advanced" graphics settings also include adjustable FOV, uncapped framerate, support for multiple monitors, support for Nvidia Ansel, HBAO+, TXAA and more.
Despite all of this, it appears that PC system requirements for Dishonored 2 are quite high as minimum system requirements start with Intel's Core i5-2400 or AMD FX-8320 or better CPU, Nvidia GTX 660 2GB or AMD HD 7970 3GB graphics card, 8GB of RAM and 60GB of storage. The game will work on Windows 7, 8.1 and Windows 10 but only in 64-bit version.
The recommended system requirements include Intel's Core i7-4770 or AMD FX-8350 or better CPU, Nvidia GTX 1060 6GB or AMD RX 480 8GB or better graphics card, 16GB of RAM and 60GB of free HDD space.
Bethesda also announced that Dishonored 2 has gone gold and should launch on November 11th for PC, Playstation 4 and Xbox One. The Steam pre-load for PC starts on Tuesday, November 8th.
