MSI has unveiled yet another motherboard that will be based on Intel's Z170 Express chipset with a couple of distinct features, including all new Asmedia USB 3.1 controller and next-gen Killer networking, the MSI Z170A Gaming M6 motherboard.
Based on Intel's Z170 Express chipset, the MSI Z170A Gaming M6 is a pretty standard motherboard with MSI's all black design, featuring just a touch of red accents.
What makes it special and stand out from the rest of the competition, is the new ASMedia 2142 USB 3.1 Gen2 controller that run on PCIe Gen3 x2 (16Gbps) interface, making it almost twice as fast as standard 10Gbps based controllers. The MSI packs both USB 3.1 Type-A and Type-C ports.
In addition to the new Asmedia USB 3.1 controller, the MSI Z170A Gaming M6 also features the next generation Killer Networking technology, Twin Turbo M.2 NVMe ports and plenty of other MSI features, like the Genie BIOS, Military Class 5 components, Audio Boost 3, DDR4 Boost and MSI Steel Armor with reinforced PCIe slots.
Unfortunately, we still do not have any details on the price or the precise availability date for the new MSI Z170A Gaming M6 motherboard.
