MSI brought a lot of Pascal-based notebooks to the Gamescom 2016 show in Cologne but it has also unveiled the new liquid-cooled GTX 1080 30th Anniversary Edition that was developed in cooperation with EK Water Blocks.
While we still do not have all the details, since the card was only spotted at Gamescom 2016 show, we do know that it was developed in cooperation with EK Water Blocks and will feature a complete AiO liquid cooling system.
Unlike other liquid cooled graphics cards, that mostly come only with a water block, the upcoming MSI GTX 1080 30th Anniversary Edition features a full liquid-cooling system. According to what we can see from the pictures provided by Hardware.info, it uses EKWB's EK Predator AiO liquid-cooling system with LED-equipped water block, CoolStream PE radiator, DDC pump and Vardar fans.
MSI is apparently still tweaking the card and the precise clocks are still not finalized but we guess we will hear a lot more about it soon.
The rest of the MSI liquid cooled lineup, like the earlier announced GTX 1070/GTX 1080 Sea Hawk Editions also use water blocks from EK Water Blocks.
According to the source, the MSI GTX 1080 30th Anniversary Edition should be available sometime in September but we still do not have any information regarding the price.
