Nintendo unveils NES Classic Mini Edition

New console with 30 classic NES games

Nintendo has announced it will be releasing a new console this year and while it won't be the new NX, it is still a treat, especially for retro games fans, the NES Classic Mini Edition.

Coming with 30 original NES games, the new NES Classic Mini Edition is a "near-identical, mini replica" of the original NES console, released back in 1985. It plugs into a HDMI port and comes with two ports for replicas of the original NES controllers.

As noted, it will come pre-loaded with 30 classic NES games including Super Mario Bros., The Legend of Zelda, Donkey Kong, Kirby's Adventure, Galaga and of course, Pac-Man, among many others.

The NES Classic Mini Edition will be launching in the US on November 11th with a price set at US $59.99 and comes with a single NES Controller. Additional controller will be available for US $9.99 in case you want some of that two-player action.

There is no word on when the NES Classic Mini Edition will be available in Europe.
