In addition to the new PC cases, Phanteks also unveiled a couple of liquid cooling products at the Computex 2016 show, including two CPU blocks as well as a full-cover GPU water block for the Nvidia GTX 1080 Founders Edition.
Although these are the first liquid cooling products from Phanteks, we must say that these look quite impressive. While those two CPU blocks are not yet finished, the GTX 1080 FE GPU block, called the Phanteks G1080, is up and running at the Computex 2016 show and looks really impressive.
The two CPU blocks feature a standard design and come with either acrylic or brushed nickel plated tops with POM acetal inserts.
The GPU block on the other hand is made of a combination acrylic for the center part and some sort of plastic plate covers at the both ends of the block. The base of the GPU block is made of nickel-plated copper and Phanteks is actually using Viton seals, rather than silicon for gaskets which should be more resistant to heat and last longer.
The Phanteks G1080 is a full cover block, which means it will take care of both the GPU as well as the memory and the VRM part of the graphics card and has quite a few RGB LEDs all around that can be used with Phanteks' RGB LED adapter.
According to our information, Phanteks will not make these blocks for older graphics cards and products will start with the Nvidia Geforce 1000 series, so we will probably see some other blocks for future AMD Radeon graphics cards.
According to details provided at the Computex 2016 show, the Phanteks G1090 block should be priced at somewhere around US $130 when it becomes available later in June.
