Revisiting Project ELWED from PhilipMod

Finished and looking good

Today, we will be revisiting a PC case mod from our forums, the Project ELWED done by Italian modder, PhilipMod. Based on a fully-custom In Win D-Frame Mini PC case, the Project ELWED is now done and looks quite good.

s we wrote earlier when the mod was started, the biggest feature of the Project ELWED is a fully-custom In Win D-Frame Mini PC case, which has an additional bottom part that will hold the custom liquid cooling system from Alphacool.

The Project ELWED mod includes a fully custom Alphacool liquid cooling system that will take care of the CPU, RAM, and the graphics card and be paired up with some modding accessories from Phobya.

The list of hardware used in the Project ELWED includes ASRock H170M-ITX/ac motherboard, Intel Pentium G4400 CPU, ADATA XPG 2x4GB DDR4 with liquid cooling, Inno3D iChill GTX 970 HerculeZ X4 Air Boss Ultra graphics card, two ADATA SP900 128GB SSDs and In Win Classic Series C900W PSU.

The end result is quite impressive and we must say that the In Win D-Frame mini PC case does not look half bad with an additional bottom part which features a high-end liquid cooling system. The lighting and color choices is a subjective matter but this one looks quite good.
