In addition to the EVGA GTX 1080 SC which was spotted earlier, there are a couple of other custom GTX 1080 pictures floating around, including cards from Gigabyte, ASUS and Gainward.
Chiphell has spotted the ASUS ROG STRIX GTX 1080 graphics card and the new teaser also suggest that it should be launched tomorrow, May 27th. This should give us a preview of the custom STRIX GTX 1080 with triple fan cooler before the unveil at Computex 2016 show. Unfortunately, the new teaser does not offer any additional details.
Videocardz.com managed to get pictures of the
Gainward Phoenix GTX 1080 as well as a rather low quality picture of
Gigabyte's GTX 1080 Xtreme Gaming graphics card.
The Gainward GTX 1080 Phoenix uses a dual fan cooling solution but comes with a slightly larger fans which made the card a bit taller. This also suggest that the fans should spin at lower RPM and be quieter.
The Gigabyte GTX 1080 Xtreme Gaming is a treat as while most of us expected something similar to the triple-fan Windforce 3X cooler, Gigabyte created a completely new cooler with a central fan that is hidden behind LED shroud and actually placed behind the two front left and right fans.
Such design will probably make the card a bit thicker but it should not be longer than a reference graphics card and there is probably a performance reason behind such a solution. Unfortunately, there are no further details so we will have to wait for Computex 2016 show to see more details.
We are quite sure that there will be plenty of custom GTX 1080 at Computex 2016 show so these three will not be alone but we still do not know when these custom GTX 1080 will actually be available on the market.
