AMD has released its newest Radeon Software Crimson Edition 16.5.2 drivers which come with all the game optimizations for the upcoming Doom game as well as a couple of other bug fixes and improvements.
The biggest update with the new Radeon Software Crimson Edition 16.5.2 drivers is the support for the upcoming Bethesda and id Software Doom game, scheduled to officially launch tomorrow, May 13th. The new Radeon Software 16.5.2 drivers will have all the performance and stability improvements as well as Crossfire profiles for the new Doom game.
In addition to the Doom optimizations, the new Radeon Software Crimson Edition 16.5.2 drivers also bring the new Crossfire profile for Battleborn game and fixes some issues seen with earlier drivers, including FRTC issues, issues with Radeon Settings and issues in games like Hitman, League of Legends and Star Wars: Battlefront.
As always, the new Radeon Software Crimson Edition 16.5.2 drivers are also available for Windows 7, Windows 8.1 and Windows 10 in both 32-bit and 64-bit versions and support all AMD Radeon graphics cards since HD 7700/HD 7900 series.
