MIFCOM Battlebox meets OCAHOLIC

During the past week-end the Swiss version of Comic Con, actually called Fantasy, took place in Basel. Solely for that event MIFCOM shipped a brand new Battlebox over, which is basically a beast of a high-end rig. Nevertheless I couldn't resist an had to make some small changes to the setup.

First of all let’s have a quick look at the color scheme of these beast, which is kept in white, chrome and black. Personally, I really like this combination and especially together with the very neat cable management it shines. It was great to see that the sleeved cables from Cablemod were aligned using numerous cable combs.

Apart from that it isn’t hard to see that there is a custom watercooling loop in this rig. As you can see from the pictures below there is a 360mm radiator from EK Water Blocks inside. When I received the system there was also a 240mm rad in the top, which I decided to remove. I did that to make the entire system look cleaner and more homogenous. Furthermore I changed the tubing from transparent ones to white 19/13 tubes from Primochill. Personally I really like those fat tube and with a few nice bends it looks great. In the end I added a pastel white additive to the water, which you can see flowing through the monoblock.

Ok, enough talking, now it’s time for the specs and pictures.
