Das Keyboard launches Division Zero gaming lineup

Featuring X40 keyboard and M50 gaming mouse

Das Keyboard is well known for its simplistic but well made computer peripheral but now it appears that the company also wants a piece of that lucrative gaming market with its new Division Zero lineup. The new Das Keyboard Division Zero gaming lineup will start with two products, X40 gaming keyboard and the M50 gaming mouse.

Based on Das Keyboard's in-house developer Alpha-Zulu Gaming switches, the Division Zero X40 gaming keyboard is pretty much your favorite Das Keyboard with a dash of gaming bling, including interchangeable aluminum top panels. To be available with both linear and tactile switches, both offering 45g actuation force, 1.7mm pre-travel zone with 4mm full travel and 60 million strokes, the Division Zero X40 keyboard certainly sounds like an interesting addition to the gaming peripheral market.

It has a fully-adjustable RED LED backlight, full n-key rollover, media control keys and five programmable macro keys, one USB 2.0 pass-through port, two audio and mic cables with gold-plated mini-jacks, 2m braided cable and a price of US $149. The custom aluminum panels will cost US $39 a piece.

The Division Zero M50 gaming mouse is also quite interesting as it is a 9+2-button ambidextrous gaming mouse, which means it works for both left- and right-handed users, packs a 6400 DPI 4G laser sensor as well as Omron switches, which support up to 300 clicks per minute and 20 million click life-cycle.

It also has a metal 4D scroll wheel with tilt function, a metal bottom with low-friction Teflon feet, 128KB of on-board memory for profile storing, 2.1m long braided USB cable, RED LED backlight with DPI indicator and a US $79 price tag.

Das Keyboard also released a dedicated Division Zero software that can be used to set macros, LED light and any other settings.
