ASUS working on smaller ROG Swift monitor

With 24-inch 1080p panel

According to the latest report, ASUS is apparently working on a cheaper and smaller version of its quite popular ROG Swift PG278Q G-Sync monitor.

While the ROG Swift PG278Q G-Sync was quite an impressive monitor with its 27-inch 2560x1440 resolution panel, 144Hz refresh rate and support for Nvidia G-Sync, its US $799.99 price makes it a higher-range device.

According to a new report from Overclock3d.net, ASUS is apparently working on a smaller and cheaper version, said to be based on a 24-inch 1920x1080 resolution panel.

While there are still no details regarding the official model name, the price or a precise launch date, it is believed that a lower price might give users the ROG Swift gaming experience and make it quite a popular monitor on the market.
