Among other interesting products, Gigabyte has showcased quite a few interesting motherboards at CES 2016, based on Intel C232 and C236 chipset and being a part of Gigabyte's G1.Gaming motherboard lineup.
While many manufactures have recently announced consumer motherboards based on Intel's C232 chipset and with support for Intel Xeon E3-1200 v5 CPUs, Gigabyte went an extra mile, and has also showcased a motherboard based on a higher-end C236 chipset, which will carry the X170 brand while The C232-based motherboards will be available as the X150 lineup.
The most interesting in the lineup are the G1.Gaming sereis Gigabyte GA-X170-Extreme ECC ad GA-X170-Gaming 7 WS motherboard with three PCI-Express slots, DDR4-ECC memory support and more.
Gigabyte had a total of six different motherboards on display, three of which will be a part of the G1.Gaming series. Other two that were pictured were based on Intel's C232 chipset, the standard ATX form-factor GA-X150-PLUS WS and the GA-X150M-PRO ECC, a micro-ATX motherboard that should pack quite a punch for its size.
Unfortunately, Gigabyte did not unveil any details regarding the availability date but we are quite sure we will see those on retail shelves soon.
