Last Saturday splmann and racoon303 met up in the ocaholic OC Lab once more and they've managed to come up with a few sweet new scores. splmann kept on pushing the i7-5960X we've already been talking about going for max clock and racoon303 had to get back a gold cup on XTU with the i5-6600K.
Apparently Roger (splmann) Tanner tweaked the i7-5960X a little furhter. Checking all the eight cores he managed to validate 6.284 GHz on CPU-z, which was good for eigth place on the HWBot rankings. That's pretty well done splmann, but honestly we need more (evil laughter).
Racoon303 on the other hand had to reclaim his gold cup on XTU with his i5-6600K, since German overclocker nfszocker managed to come up with a higher score. It's great to see that Mike (racoon303) Buchroither actually succeeded in his quest scoring 1783 Points on XTU.
Overall it looks like the two spent a successful and productive Saturday killing some LN2 and some random VGA. Let's see what they'll manage during the next session. I'm quite sure they can score some more decent results and I'm almost certain they'll kill some more hardware. I guess I'll have to come up with some weird ideas to adequately honor those brave, fallen warriors.
