Star Wars Battlefront weighs 27GB on PC

Even less on consoles

While we are slowly getting used to PC games taking up well over 50GB, it appears that EA/DICE Star Wars Battlefront will be a bit different, taking up 27GB on the PC and even less on consoles.

According to the EA Star Wars Twitter account, the upcoming Star Wars Battlefront, scheduled to launch on November 17th, will need 27GB on the PC and even less on consoles. Apparently, it will be one of the tiniest games on Xbox One, taking up 19GB, and 23GB on the Playstation 4.

This does not come as a big surprise considering both the type of the game as well as the fact that the beta launched in October, which was a big success with more than 9.5 million attending it, was just a 11GB download on the PC.

Either the reason for such a small game is due to the fact that it is a multiplayer game or just wel optimized, it appears that it won't need a lot of HDD space.
