EKWB releases monoblocks for Maximus VIII motherboards

For Maximus VIII Hero, Ranger and Gene

EK Water Blocks, a well known liquid cooling gurus from Slovenia, have announced its newest motherboard monoblocks for Asus' Maximus VIII motherboard lineup, including the ASUS Maximus VIII Hero, Ranger and Gene.

The EK-FB ASUS M8G Monoblock, as EK Water Blocks decided to name it, is a complete All-in-One (AiO) liquid cooling solution for Intel LGA1151 socket Skylake CPU and ASUS Maximus VIII Hero, Ranger or Gene motherboards. Only missing from the list is Asus' latest high-end Z170-based ROG Maximus VIII Extreme motherboard but we are sure that EK Water Blocks will soon have a monoblock ready for that one as well.

Designed and engineered in cooperation with Asus, the EK-FB ASUS M8G Monoblock uses EKWB's well known EK-Supremacy EVO block for the CPU and directly cools both the CPU and the power regulation (MOSFET) module on the motherboard. The block is based on a very high-flow design which means it can also be used with liquid cooling systems with weaker pumps.

The base of the block is made of nickel-plated electrolytic copper while the top is made of quality POM Acetal or acrylic glass material, depending on the version.

The EK-FB ASUS M8G Monoblock will be available in two versions, Nickel and Acetal+Nickel, both priced at €119.95. Both will be available as of today via EK Webshop or the Partner Reseller Network.
