MSI has unveiled yet another Geforce GTX 980 Ti based graphics card, the MSI Geforce GTX 980 Ti Golden Gaming Edition. This special Geforce GTX 980 Ti version from MSI will feature a new color scheme, full copper heatsink and high factory-overclock settings.
Based on pretty much the same design as previous available custom Geforce GTX 980 Ti graphics cards from MSI, except for the color scheme, the new MSI GTX 980 Ti Golden Gaming Edition will feature a high factory-overclock of 1190MHz for the base GPU clock, 1291MHz for the GPU Boost clock while 6GB of GDDR5 memory, paired up with a 384-bit memory interface, will end up clocked at 7096MHz.
In addition to high factory-overclock, the MSI GTX 980 Ti Golden Gaming Edition will also use a new orange on black color scheme as well as special copper heatsink with copper heatpipes, which should go well with the new color scheme.
Previously available custom GTX 980 Ti graphics cards from MSI used an aluminum heatsink and nickel-plated copper heatpipes, which means that the GTX 980 Ti Golden Gaming Edition will also be quite heavier at 1,338g but provide better heat dissipation.
The MSI GTX 980 Ti Golden Gaming Edition also features orange color accents on the shroud and comes with a dragon-themed backplate.
Unfortunately, MSI did not reveal any details regarding the availability date or the price.
