HDPlex 2nd generation H5 case goes on sale

Shipping next month for US $288

HDPlex, a well known manufacturer of premium fanless HTPC cases has announced that its second-generation H5 fanless HTPC case is now selling and will be shipping in October for US $288.

While the price of the new HDPlex 2nd gen H5 HTPC case might sound a bit steep, bear in mind that this is a completely silent case that supports passive cooling of 95 TDP CPU and also comes with an optional eight-heatpipe passive system for graphics card cooling.

This full aluminum PC case measures at 430x353.4x114.5mm, weighs 8kg and uses a 15mm brushed aluminum faceplate combined with aluminum 2.5mm top/bottom and 9mm side panels.

It supports ATX, micro-ATX and mini-ITX motherboards, ATX, SFX, Flex and nanoATX PSUs, dual-slot graphics cards, single 5.25-inch ODD/Hotswap HDD, up to two 3.5-inch or four 2.5-inch HDDs/SSDs and pretty much anything that you might need to assemble not only a HTPC but also a full PC system.

Available in black and silver color options and with optional nano-ATX PSU or linear PSU, the HDPlex 2nd gen H5 HTPC case will be available globally as of October 15th with a starting price of US $288.
