EK Water Blocks, a well known liquid cooling gurus from Slovenia have now launched its newest full-cover water block designed for AMD's recently released Radeon R9 Nano graphics card, the EK-FC R9 Nano.
Based on a full-cover design, the EK-FC R9 Nano water block directly cools the GPU, the VRM part of the graphics card as well as the High Bandwidth Memory placed on the same die package as the GPU. It also comes with unique central inlet split-flow cooling engine that supports reversed water flow systems as well as systems with weaker pumps, due to its high hydraulic performance.
While the reference air cooler takes up two slots, the EK-FC R9 Nano water block transforms the small graphics card into a single-slot solution and it also comes with a single-slot I/O bracket bundled with the water block.
The base of the EK-FC R9 Nano water block is made of electrolytic nickel-plated copper, while the top is made of either acrylic- or POM Acetal, depending on the version. The acrylic version of the EK-FC R9 Nano water block will also feature two pre-drilled slots for 3mm LED diodes.
The EK-FC R9 Nano has been designed to support FC Terminal connection ports that allows users to pair up to four R9 Nano graphics card on a single ATX motherboard.
As noted, the EKWB EK-FC R9 Nano will be available in two versions, Nickel and Acetal+Nickel, both priced at €109,95 and EKWB also offers optional EK-FC R9 Nano Black Backplate which sells for €29,95. The entire lineup will be available as of tomorrow at EK Webshop and its Partner Reseller Network.
