Although there were plenty of rumors earlier, Google has now officially sent out invites, confirming the event that will take place on September 29th in San Francisco.
With an official confirmation of the event, it is now pretty sure that we will see new Nexus smartphones at this Google event. According to earlier rumors, there will be two new Nexus smartphones, coming from LG and Huawei, and it is possible that Google will announce a couple of other new devices, including the recently rumored new Chromecast.
Earlier rumors suggested that the Huawei-based Nexus, rumored to be called the Nexus 6P will, feature a 5.7-inch QHD screen and be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 810 SoC. The LG-made Nexus smartphone is rumored to be called the Nexus 5X and will have a smaller 5.2-inch screen and Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 SoC. Both smartphones will be running on Google's new Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS.
As it was the case with previous events, Google's September 29th event will be streamed live at Google's Youtube channel.
