Nintendo has finally named a new president after the industry legend Satoru Iwata has passed. The new president of the company will be a Nintendo veteran Tatsumi Kimishima.
To bear the title of President and Representative Director of Nintendo, Tatsumi Kimishima is a rather unknown name, at least unless you had closely followed Pokemon Company, where this veteran has been working at a Representative Director since year 2000.
Tatsumi Kimishima definitely has a big job as he has to fill in for an icon in the gaming industry, Satoru Iwata, who died in July.
The new announcement of Tatsumi Kimishima as the new president of the company has also been followed by a large-scale revision of the company that will be in effect on September 16th. Genyo Takeda, a guy behind the Wii console will become Technology Fellow while Shigeru Miyamoto, a guy behind Zelda, will become the new Creative Fellow.
Nintendo is gearing up for the launch of the new Nintendo NX, which has been rumored earlier, and the new restructuring of the company as well as the new president might push the launch in the right direction.
