While we have already seen it, today we have a fresh batch of pictures of the upcoming XFX Radeon R9 390X graphics card.

Posted by Videocardz.com, the XFX Radeon R9 390X is expected to be a rebrand of the Radeon R9 290X and come with 8GB of GDDR5 memory. It will be based on a 28nm Grenada GPU, which is an improved Hawaii GPU and could feature higher GPU and memory clocks, but we will know for sure on June 16th.

Featuring a custom dual-slot dual-fan cooler, the XFX Radeon R9 390X is a bit taller than the one we have seen on the Radeon R9 290X series. It uses two aluminum heatsinks and features a total of seven 8mm thick copper heatpipes and even comes with dedicated heatsinks for memory and the VRM which are connected to the main heatsink.

The XFX Radeon R9 390X will need 6+8-pin PCI-Express power connectors and feature two DVI, one HDMI 1.4a and one DisplayPort 1.2a output.

Although being an improved rebrand of the Radeon R9 290X, our sources suggest that Radeon R9 390X could go as high as US $449.99 for some custom graphics cards.
