EKWB releases new water block kit for X99 SOC Champion

With two water blocks

EK Water Blocks, a well known liquid cooling manufacturer from Slovenia, has introduced a new FB water block kit for Gigabyte's X99 SOC Champion motherboard, the EK-FB KIT GA X99-SOC Champion.

The new EKWB EK-FB KIT GA X99-SOC Champion is a full liquid cooling solution for Gigabyte's X99 SOC Champion motherboard and comes with two separate water blocks that directly cool the Intel X99 southbridge (PCH) as well as the power regulation (VRM/MOSFETs) module.

According to EKWB, this water block cools exactly as much heat as the original Gigabyte heatsink but looks a whole lot better. It is also based on a high-flow design which means it can be used in liquid cooling systems with weaker pump.

The base of the new EKWB EK-FB KIT GA X99-SOC Champion is made of nickel-plated electrolytic copper while the top is made of acrylic glass material. It also comes with pre-installed screw-in standoffs and is used with original motherboard backplate.

The new EKWB EK-FB KIT GA X99-SOC Champion is already available at EK Webshop and its Partner Reseller Network with a price set at €114,95.
