GALAX launches custom liquid cooled HOF series

With GTX 980 HOF and GTX 970 HOF

GALAX, a brand that has been recently created on the foundations of the KFA2, a Galaxy brand, has announced its new custom liquid cooled Hall Of Fame series of graphics cards, the GTX 980 HOF and the GTX 970 HOF.

Both based on a custom design and with a water block developed in cooperation with Diamond Cooling from Europe, the new GTX 980 and GTX 970 HOF graphics cards will be the top of the line offer from GALAX.

Both graphics cards have a completely custom PCB with 10-layer manufacturing process and white PCB, 8+2-phase VRM design with next-generation IR3595 Digital PWM controller and IR3555 with DrMOS and 60A output, hardware dual BIOS, voltage tool, GALAXExtreme Power Inductors and much more.

The GALAX GTX 980 HOF ended up working at 1304MHz for the base GPU and 1418MHz for the GPU Boost clock while the GALAX GTX 970 HOF works at 1216MHz for the GPU base and 1380MHz for the GPU Boost clock.

As far as the water block is concerned, this one features a full-cover design, which means it cools the GPU, memory and the VRM part of the graphics card and is made of pure nickel plated copper base with PETG acrylic/white acetal top and fits both the GALAX GTX 970 and the GALAX GTX 980 graphics card.

Unfortunately, GALAX did not reveal any details regarding availability or the price of the new GTX 970 HOF or the GTX 980 HOF graphics cards.
