EKWB releases EVGA GTX 980 Kingpin Edition water block

The new EK-FC980 GTX Classy KPE

EK Water Blocks, a well known liquid cooling gear company from Slovenia has released its latest full-cover water block aimed to be used with EVGA's GeForce GTX 980 Classified K|NGP|N Edition graphics card, the EK-FC980 GTX Classy KPE.

Based on a full-cover design and aimed to be used with EVGA's top of the line non-reference Classified K|NGP|N Edition GeForce GTX 980 graphics card, the new EK-FC980 GTX Classy KPE does not only cool the GPU but also the memory and the VRM part of the graphics card.

Like it was the case with all recent EKWB water blocks, the new EK-FC980 GTX Classy KPE also comes with EKWB's unique central inlet split-flow cooling engine that can work with reversed water flow and also supports liquid cooling systems with weaker pumps, thanks to its good hydrauly performance.

The base of the EK-FC980 GTX Classy KPE is made of nickel-plated electrolytic copper while the top is made of either POM Acetal or acrylic material, depending on the version. It also comes with pre-installed screw-in brass standoffs and will be available with an optional backplate.

As noted, the EK-FC980 GTX Classy KPE will be available in two different versions, EK-FC980 GTX Classy KPE - Nickel and the EK-FC980 GTX Classy KPE - Acetal + Nickel.

Both versions are already available with a price set at €137,95 and €139,95, respectively. The EK-FC980 GTX Classy KPE Backplate will be available in Black and Nickel versions, priced at €34,95 and €41,95, respectively.
