The new Desk and Canvio models
Toshiba has now announced new 6TB HDD models in its 3.5-inch internal SATA 3.0 Desk and its external USB 3.0 Canvio Desk series of HDDs.
While it did no reveal many details or specifications regarding the new 6TB models or yet list them on its official site, we are quite sure that these will share similarities with their 5TB counterparts, including SATA 6Gbps interface for the internal and USB 3.0 for the external HDDs, spin speed of up to 7200RPM and Toshiba's 3 year limited warranty.
Toshiba did announce that the new 6TB Canvio Desk 3.5" Internal and 6TB Canvio Desk External HDDs will be available for purchase in May 2015 with an MSRP of US $369.
