Razer was also one of the manufacturers to join the GTX 960M launch with an update for its Blade Pro gaming notebook which will now feature the GTX 960M as well as more storage options.
Despite the update specifications, Razer's Blade Pro has kept its US $2,299.99 price tag. In case you missed it earlier, the Razer Blade Pro is based around a 17-inch 1080p TN display, Intel's Core i7-4720HQ CPU, 16GB of RAM and now a GTX 960M graphics card with 4GB of video memory. It also comes with Switchblade User Interface (SBUI) which includes 10 customizable keys and a unique LCD touchpad instead of standard numeric keyboard.
In addition to the GTX 960M graphics card, the Razer Blade Pro now includes a new storage options. While 128GB SSD paired up with 500GB HDD and 256GB SSD paired up with a 500GB HDD were available with earlier Blade Pro version, Razer has now added an option of 512GB SSD with a 1TB HDD.
Razer has recently announced the new 14-inch Razer Blade with GTX 970M GPU so it is quite weird that the Razer Blade Pro did not get that GPU as well.
As noted, the base Razer Blade Pro model starts at US $2,299.99 price tag while the top one costs US $2,799.99. While it might sound a bit steep, there are plenty of unique features that differentiate Razer's Blade Pro from the competition.
