Full specifications revealed ahead of the launch

While we already know that Nvidia will officially launch its new Geforce GTX Titan X graphics card during GPU Technology Conference, scheduled to start tomorrow, March 17th, we now have the best pictures of the graphics card, its GM200 GPU and full specifications.

Mostly thanks to Videocardz.com, we now have some of the best pictures of the upcoming Nvidia GTX Titan X graphics card as well as full specifications regarding the GM200 Maxwell GPU behind it.

While we will get the official confirmation as well as the price tomorrow, according to leaked specifications, the new Titan X will be based on a 28nm GM200-400 Maxwell GPU which packs 3072 CUDA cores, 192 TMUs and 96 ROPs. The GPU will feature six Graphics Processing Clusters (GPCs), each with 4 SMMs, which adds up to aforementioned 3072 CUDA cores. It will also come with 12GB of GDDR5 memory paired up with a 384-bit memory interface.




As far as the clocks are concerned, the Titan X GPU is clocked at 1002MHz base clock and 1089MHz GPU Boost clock while 12GB of GDDR5 memory ended up clocked at 1753MHz. It will have a 250W TDP and need 8+6-pin PCI-Express connectors for additional power. It will feature three DisplayPort, single DVI and single HDMI display outputs.

While the price is still unknown, most agree that Nvidia will launch the new Titan X with a US $999 price tag, just as it did with its previous Titan graphics cards.
